3. What to know before coming to Romania?
In Romania the national currency is RON ( 1 EUR = 4,96 RON/ 1 USD = 4,65 RON)
Romania is part of the European Union, so if you are a UE citizen, you can enter the country only with a valid ID.
Romania is not part of Schengen.
Romania has an extensive transportation network. Major cities are connected by train, and buses are available for shorter distances and rural areas. Taxis and ride-sharing services are also common in urban centers.
Depending on your nationality, you may or may not need a visa to enter Romania. Check with the Romanian embassy or consulate in your country to determine if you require a visa and the specific requirements.
